CID Cast-In Firestop Device
SpecSeal Cast-In Devices are a sleeve, concrete core, firestop, and watertight seal rolled into a single device. Constructed with ABS Plastic and Polypropylene, this CID has excellent durability and rigidity. The device is bi-directional allowing for both floor and ceiling penetration. A single device is used for both metal and plastic piping accommodating heights up to 8” via cutting or for heights over 8” with extensions utilizing an adjustable pin. The CID includes a W-rating providing end-users maximum protection against water damage.
