Infectious Patient Care
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced healthcare facilities to rethink their standard operating protocols when treating infectious and immunocompromised patients without sacrificing quality of care . Facilities are relocating equipment traditionally contained within the patient room such as IVs, Infusion Pumps, and patient monitoring equipment, into the corridor in an attempt to conserve personal protective equipment (PPE) and reduce the frequency of contact between nurses and infected patients.
Safety as a top priority.
The Clinician Patient Access Device allows clinical staff to provide patient services safely from the corridor, reducing the frequency of staff/patient interaction. Discreetly wall mounted and easily accessible, these devices avoid running lines, wires, cords, or cables through door openings or beneath patient room doors where they present a trip hazard to staff entering and exiting the room. Additionally, the potential for damage or blockage of IV lines due to foot traffic or door closure is reduced.
ADA compliant.
Easy to install. Easy to sanitize.
The Clinician Patient Access Devices have a compact design that installs flush with wall surfaces and does not project into the corridor or patient room, making it fully ADA compliant. The molded thermoplastic body and integrated silicone rubber gaskets can be easily sanitized using normal cleaning protocols.

Self-sealing. Compact. Easy to use.
Each device is fitted with self-sealing silicone rubber gaskets to ensure that the lines, wires, cords, or cables are sealed to block air, contaminants, and noise. There are no sharp edges to pierce or slice the integrity of the inserted lines. Simply push the temporary service through the device, and it quickly and automatically seals.

Relocating services
in the COVID-19 Era.
As referenced by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, reconfiguring ICU’s for pandemic response
is necessary to protect healthcare workers, and patients alike. And, relocating critical services outside the
patient room is a major priority.
